From February 1, 2022, Denmark is open to all tourists, restrictions have been canceled. Thus, you can enter the country by plane or by land.

Only 2-3 documents are required from each spouse:

  • Passport / ID / Schengen visa
  • Divorce certificate if you have been married before
  • Certificate of marital status, if there were no previous marriages
  • Registration at the place of residence
  • Birth certificates of common children

Citizens of the EU, Turkey, USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia do not need to apostille documents

For citizens of other countries, an apostille is required only for a divorce certificate

All documents issued by any country other than German/English must be translated by a certified translator.
